Prior to opening the Law Office of Steven K. Bloom in 2005, Mr. Bloom worked as an associate attorney for eight years under several law firms in Orange County and San Diego County. During this time, attorney Steven K. Bloom learned a great deal from 20 to 30 year veterans in the business and was acknowledged by his peers as an upcoming super lawyer. From 1998 to 2001, he worked with the Alternate Public Defenders Office in San Diego and was a nationally distinguished award recipient. A very small group of lawyers received the National Legal Aide Defense Association’s Clara Shortridge Foltz Award for outstanding achievement in indigent cases.
From 2001 to 2005, Mr. Bloom worked at a large criminal defense firm in Orange County. While there, he perfected the nuances of handling a criminal case and learned how to give his paying clients first class treatment and unprecedented results. Those first eight years as a criminal defense attorney were very rewarding, but not having complete control of the case to better serve his clients left Mr. Bloom seeking self employment. Attorney Steven K. Bloom was born in Inglewood, California. As an infant, the family moved to Hacienda Heights where he and his brothers were raised.
From a young age, he loved sports…especially football. Growing up, he was privileged to enjoy USC Football as his older brothers and himself attended the university.
Mr. Bloom is happily married to his wife Angie who is a school teacher and live in Yorba Linda, CA with their three daughters. Aside from Mr. Bloom’s zeal for his profession, he loves coaching his daughters’ softball team, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and spending quality time with family.
